I had big dreams of picking up a Kranzle K1122TST pressure washer, but I wasn't comfortable spending well north of $1000, so I picked a much more reasonably priced one at Lowes. It' s the KPW2000 2000 PSI 1.4 GPM Cold Water Electric model by Kobalt, but it is manufactured by AR, which is a pretty decent manufacturer of pressure washers from what I can gather. I had an opportunity to assemble and test it out this morning, and it is far and away superior to the Kärcher it replaces. While it may not compare in build quality to a Kranzle, it did a fantastic job of spraying off the SQ5 and driveway.

I have the AR390SS which looks just like that one (except for the Kobalt logo). It's pretty good. One thing I found very frustrating was the hose. Mine kinked every time I used it. I was going to change the hose to a better one but with the special adapter they have on the reel, I wasn't able to. I ended up called AR and getting the upgraded hose (AR41839). It's 20ft vs the 30ft that came with it but what a difference the hose makes. I'm not fighting the hose anymore.

Where can i get the upgraded hose and how much did it cost? I've gone through a couple of hoses already, they always end up kinking and splitting open, a damn shame because the machine is great. Hose quality is terrible though.

That is very good intel. I have only used it a couple of times and haven't found any frustrations (yet) with the hose. Should I find it kinks, I will be sure to follow your advice. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and advice. How is the new hose, other than be shorter, different from the original? 7/21/2017 12:56:54 am
Is it electric or petrol powered? I'm interested in getting one.

This power washer is electric. Much more convenient than a gas-powered one. Comments are closed.
