A few months back, we upgraded our home's security system. The security firm we were with wasn't willing or able to add cameras to our service so we switched over to a different outfit. We have been very pleased with our decision. We have numerous motion triggered cameras around the perimeter of our house. When the system is armed, any motion detected causes that camera to take 5 photos and an alert is sent to the control panel. There's also an option for them to record 15-second video clips. It's pretty cool. It can all be controlled remotely using our iPhones. Here's us arriving home this afternoon. I conducted a decent amount of research on home security systems in the lead up to this install, so if you want to pick someone's brain, drop me a line. 

This portable lift will make my wheel swaps a treat. Not to mention detailing the undercarriage.

I've got my eye on a new electric pressure washer. My current one has a broken handle and it is looking and sounding pretty worn.

I'm impressed with the amount of traffic my humble site has generated over the course of this past year. I guess garages are popular with lots of folks, these days.

I am resonant to shell out $700+ for a Pirelli P-Zero summer performance tire that "cracks" after 5,000 km of use. What garbage. I really need a company to release an all-season in the SQ5's stock size, but I may have to go with a slightly larger 265/40. Whatever the case, I'm very disappointed with the short life span of these Pirellis.  

The city has begun its seasonal campaign of coating the city in calcium chloride. Not sure why we are so afraid of snow. It takes me about 15 minutes to clean my WeatherTech floor protectors.

Been down with the flu for the past week, but found the energy today to perform the swap from my Fall/Spring setup to the Blizzaks!  No snow here , yet.  When it does come, I will be ready.  The Blizzak LM-60's are, by far, the best winter tires I have ever owned, and I've owned a few.  The entire swap took about an hour.
